Not Silent
Minister Sondria McWilliams
May 2026
Every woman has a story to tell. God made her to not just be seen, but to be heard. He made women to be valued. She is not more valuable than a man, but definitely not less either (Genesis 1:27). In the Kingdom of God there is no inequality. As a woman, I stand in my favor and my God shall bring equality to me because He is just.
I do love our men. I have a favor towards men since the Lord purposefully and beautifully blessed me with five sons and five grandsons (grace, grace). Because we live in a fallen world, there has been this inner battle; In the church, we can share, but not preach, we can serve coffee, but not communion. But, if your child was oppressed with an infirmity, it would not matter at all if it was a woman or a man that could heal or deliver your child.
The divine call is partnership, which was so wonderfully said by Paul Ellis. “We need each other. There is no other way to be fruitful.” (Genesis 1:28) I am glad that we are allowing the word of God to heal our hearts in this area.
I want to give honor to the women who paved the way; Kathryn Kuhlman, Marilyn Hickey, Joyce Meyer, and Lou Turner. To my sisters in Christ who I get to glean from today. You are all great pastors and leaders; Joyce Marable, Liz Hall, Alana Watkins, Priscilla Souza, Deborah Land, Angela Turner, Leesa Hamilton, Michele Cowan, Patrice Turner, Lakeisa Walker, Charelle Pennington, and Leah Shepherd. I am very thankful for you all. You know who you are in the kingdom and God didn’t settle on you but chose you, anointed you and appointed you.
