Thank You

There is something that we all should definitely make time for. Telling our Heavenly Father or someone we know, thank you, ministers to their hearts and ours. Letting others know that we appreciate them is a joy. We get to be as creative as we desire. I love expressing my gratitude in many different ways; A note card, dessert, a hug, a gift card, or my favorite, a goodie bag.

Just recently, I came across the definition of “Thank You”.  “Thank you” means, I confess I needed you, I need and value what you have done for me. You are a help and a blessing to me. I couldn’t have done it without you.

My gratitude journal is full of thousands of thank you’s, for everything, from family and friends to enjoying a glass of french soda. When we express our gratitude we are telling our hearts how good things are, and that we have nothing to complain about. The key is to express gratitude; write it down or say it out loud. Our mental and emotional health needs it.

In short, there is so much to be thankful for. Thank you is a praise and an expression of victory. The enemy desires to keep us in turmoil by not being thankful. Expressing our gratitude will change our attitude and will bring with it a spirit of freedom that only God can give.
